Why Theatre?

It is well known that kids who participate in performing arts are four times more likely to have higher achievement in school than kids who do not. Theatre provides many benefits for kids including self confidence, creativity, empathy, concentration.

meet Lisa

Hi! For nearly 30 years, I have taught educational theatre to hundreds of kids ages 6-18. I also founded Merry Heart Theatre, where I directed many drama camps. I know firsthand how theatre can benefit and transform kids.
